    Es ist sicherlich eine interessante künstlerische Aufgabe und wird sicherlich ihm gut tun, aber geht man fürn Ryan Gosling Film und n Musical aus einer so berühmten Rolle wirklich raus? Es ist kein Abstieg, aber irgendwie denkt man ja eigentlich immer bei bekannten Leute, dass sie bessere Angebote haben und irgendwie sich immer verbessern mit den Angeboten, aber so wirklich scheint das nicht zu funktionieren. Auf der SDCC sah er mir auch nicht so wirklich überglücklich aus...


    Äh - er ist ja nicht wg. dieser Angebote gegangen. Er hat aufgehört und das hat sich dann halt aktuell ergeben.
    Und - als großer Filmstar wird er ja nun noch nicht gehandelt - berühmt halt eher begrenzt.

    Ich war zu Anfang auch nicht so begeistert von Matt Smith, auch weil ich dachte er ist einfach zu jung. Ich meine noch ein juengerer Doctor und Dr Who laeuft bald auf CBeebies :D . Und ich fand die erste Staffel mit ihm auch eine Mischung aus hoelzern und zu slapstick. Aber ich finde er hat sich gut gemacht, und ich glaube schon, dass er vermisst werden wird. Ich mag ihn heute, ich werde ihn schon vermissen, auf jeden Fall. Aber irgendwie vermisst man immer den "alten" Doktor. Ich werde Matt Smith vermissen wie ich David Tennant vermisse, und Christopher Eccleston, etc.

    Naja, Bateman wohl....ich mags auch nicht wirklich.

    Ein sportlicher Körper - ja, gerne. Aber nicht dieses Zurschaustellen, diese antrainierte Muskeln, das mag ich persönlich nicht.

    Das muss ich jetzt mal loswerden: Was sollen diese dämlichen animierten Gifs hier? Wir sind doch hier nicht auf Tumblr. Kann man sowas nicht entweder in richtiger Videoform, z.B. als YouTube-Video oder als simples Textzitat einbauen? Dieser Beitrag ist fast so lang wie ein durchschnittliches radioaktives Posting und hat ganze 4 Zeilen Inhalt.

    Rückblickend war Matt Smith aus meiner Sicht kein guter Doctor.
    Klar, er war besser als David Tennant, aber seien wir mal ehrlich, das war nicht wirklich schwer. Aber an Christopher Eccleston kam er vom Charisma, Charme aber auch vom Humor nie ran und auch viele der klassischen Darsteller der Rolle haben ihre Charaktere besser…. doctoriger rüber gebracht.
    Sicher lag das nicht alleine an Matt Smith, ähnlich wie David Tennant wurde ihm viel durch die Drehbücher und den Head-Writer vorgegeben. Ähnlich wie bei Tennant, wo ich die Schuld an dessen versagen RTD gebe, gebe ich also hier die Schuld Moffat.
    Natürlich gab es zwischendrin immer mal wirkliche Perlen, doch das war bei RTD ja auch nicht anders, aber da Moffat im Vorhinein, unter RTD so brillante Drehbücher abgeliefert hat, bin ich nun von ihm vielleicht sogar mehr enttäuscht, als es am Ende der Tennant Ära der Fall war.


    Von der kommenden Ära erwarte ich nun wieder sehr viel, da ich davon ausgehe, das Capaldi genug Erfahrung und Mum hat, um sich gegen den Schwachsinn, den Moffat manchmal abliefert, zu stemmen.

    Also ich will dem widersprechen, ich empfinde Smith als genial. Natürlich hat Moffat, aber nicht nur der, einiges versaut, aber Smith hat vieles durch sein Schauspiel wider herausgerissen. Aber gerade so Dinge wie Charme und Charisma sind auch oft nur von subjektiven Eindrücken abhängig, die gar nicht objektiv wirklich zu messen sind. Ich fand Smith als Schauspieler wunderbar, meistens konnte er mich wirklich mitreißen und hat auch viele eher schlechte Szenen durch sein Spiel gerettet, selbst seine Dialoge dank dem Schreiberling Müll waren.

    Ich finde ihn auch großartig.
    Aber ich denke, man muss ihn halt wirklich auch moegen von seiner Art her. Das tue ich, von daher hat er fuer mich fast jede Folge sehenswert gemacht. Ich schaue ihm halt wirklich einfach gerne zu, fast egal, was er tut. Charisma nehme ich da schon wahr, auch viel Humor.
    Dahingegen hat mich Eccleston kaum beeindruckt.
    Vor ihm mochte ich die Serie - jetzt liebe ich sie. Und das hat sein Doctor geschafft.
    So hat halt jeder seine Vorlieben.
