Wobei ich finde, dass ich Lowlights hier ein wenig relativieren muss. Kill the Moon zB. ist für mich nicht ein wirklicher Tiefpunkt der Serie, es ist in der 8. Staffel lediglich die eine Folge, bei der die schlechten Aspekte, die es ja auch in jeder Folge (auch den wirklich guten) immer gibt, bei mir auch später noch einen längeren negativen Eindruck hinterlassen haben - Spaß gemacht hat die Folge trotzdem, und ich glaube mich zu erinnern, dass ich ihr sogar spontan ein "Gut" gegeben habe.Die einzig wirklich unterirdischen Folgen sind meiner Ansicht nach Love and Monsters und The Rings of Akhaten, alle anderen (sogar das Season-Finale von Season 4 (wenn auch nur knapp!! )) haben noch viel, das mir auch bei wiederholtem Schauen noch Spaß genug macht, und rangieren eher unter "nicht so gut wie die anderen Folgen dieser Season".

Und das, was ich hier im Forum so oft bemerke, und was mich immer wieder verwundert, dass es ganze Staffeln oder Hauptdarsteller gibt, die ich mies finde, das gibt es bei mir eigentlich gar nicht. Nicht aus Prinzip etwa, weil ich die Serie so liebe, dass ich unter gar keinen Umständen ein schlechtes Licht auf sie fallen lassen würde und alles ganz rigoros superduper finde (sonst würde ich ja hier auch keine Lowlight-Listen erstellen! ), sondern ganz einfach weil ich an einer TV-Serie, wenn ich sie ganze Staffeln lang schlecht finde, irgendwann von ganz alleine das Interesse verliere, und sie nicht mehr weiter schaue. Das ist mir schon bei sehr vielen Serien so gegangen, auch solchen, von denen ich überzeugt war, dass ich nie, NIE, NIEEE! das Interesse an ihnen verlieren könnte. Vielleicht fehlt mir das Zeug zum 150%igen Fan.
Doctor Who jedenfalls hält mich persönlich, seit ich die Serie entdeckt habe, konstant bei der Stange, und auch wenn es unter der Classic Serie so einige echte Tiefpunkte gab (auch längerfristige), hat mich das im Durchschnitt durchgehend hohe Niveau der neuen Serie bislang einen treuen Fan bleiben lassen. (Und auch wenn ich es natürlich nicht ausschließen kann, dass ich auch an Doctor who irgendwann das interesse verlieren könnte, hoffe ich doch, dass das auch in Zukunft treuer Fan bleibe! Amen! )

Ich update mal meine Liste ein wenig, weil ich in letzter Zeit wieder mehr Classic Episoden gesehen habe. Wie schon vorher: Staffeln, die ich nicht komplett gesehen, von denen ich aber mindestens drei Episoden oder mehr gesehen habe, in Klammern.
