Ein Kurzfilm wird gerade produziert. Dazu gab es folgende Meldung auf Facebook:

"Hi folks - I am in need of your help! I am in involved in making the promotional short film to help publicise the Anthology. We are filming on Sunday 26th October at Poltimore House, Exeter (UK). As part of the cast, I need to find someone to play the part of a young girl. The playing age is around 10 - 12 years old, and they need to be white with brown hair (as she has to look similar to an older actress playing her as a grown-up).

If she has some experience of acting, that is useful, but the role has no dialogue, and it is far more important that her temperament is one suited to taking direction, and the environment of a film set, which (to a 12 yr old) can be quite boring! So I am happy to consider non-actors as well.

The girl would be required for several hours on the day and, of course, would need to chaperoned by their parents, or guardians. Ideally you should be in the Exeter/Devon area. For anyone that thinks their child might be suitable, please message me for more details, and we can go from there. And please share this post to anyone else you think might be able to help - thank you!"

Oh ... bei amazon wird es definitiv nicht erscheinen, wenn es überhaupt erscheinen kann, dann wird das direkt über chinbeardbooks.com sein... und die nutzen für charity publikationen Lulu (und die akzeptieren übrigens Paypal)

Nun ... drücken wir Declan May weiterhin die Daumen, dass er wieder gesund wird, denn wenn ich das richtig mitbekommen habe, ist es nicht wirklich sicher, dass er die nächsten Wochen überlebt ... wenn ich mal an diesen Beitrag vom 31.März erinnern darf... Bewundernswert, dass er dieses Projekt überhaupt macht.

Das wäre blöd, wenn es eine Limited Edition wäre für die, die vorher gespendet haben ... das habe ich nämlich nicht, weil es damals hieß es würde sicherlich eine Print-Version kommen -.-

Ich kopiere mal meinen Beitrag aus der FB-Gruppe hier rein:

Erinnert ihr euch an "Seasons of War", das inoffizielle Buch-Projekt rund um Kurzgeschichten um den War Doctor, das man gegen Spenden (irgendwas für Kinder glaube ich) bekam?
Letzter Status war bisher, dass das eBook seit Monaten draußen ist und weitere eBooks und eine Print-Ausgabe in Planung war.
Jetzt hat der Typ angekündigt, dass, da jemand das Buch piratisiert hat, er den DL für das Buch (also auch für diejenigen, die bereits bezahlt haben) abgeschaltet hat und die Print-Ausgabe und Fortsetzung nochmal überdenkt.

IMHO eine völlig bekloppte Reaktion, da die piratisierte Fassung jetzt die einzig erhältliche ist und was bitteschön interessiert die Print-Freunde denn eine piratisierte eBook-Fassung?!
Hat man ihm auch schon auf FB gesagt. Mal sehen, ob er das kapiert.

Super. Die besorge ich mir auf jeden Fall.

Oh, wie schön! Da lohnt sich das Warten endlich. Ich bevorzuge eben Print-Medien. Ich habe es mit ebooks versucht, aber sie reizen mich nicht wie ein Buch.

Meins ist auch vorbestellt. Die Website hat den Ansturm zum Glück überstanden.

So, hab auch mal eins gekauft Ist ja immerhin für einen guten Zweck.

Ich hab' die Stories seit erscheinen der eBook-Variante immer einzeln zwischen zwei Romanen gelesen und bin jetzt fast durch. So richtig dolle fand ich es jetzt nicht, aber ein paar ganz gute Stories waren da schon zwischen.
Mir fällt da gerade eine Story ein, da kommt der Brig nochmal wieder. Die widerspricht jetzt dem, was wir aus der NewSeries wissen und da fand ich es gut, dass dies alles in keinster Weise Canon ist. Der leichengefledderte Cyberbrig war da nämlich ein Scheiss gegen. Ich sage nicht, was passiert, ihr werdet es selber lesen und verstehen, was ich meine.
